In 2008 Lil Wayne’s, “Tha Carter III,” debuted with 1,005,545 records sold in the first week. Lil Wayne’s follow up in the, “Carter,” series debuts with 964,000 records sold in the first week according to BillBoard . Lady Gaga’s, “Born This Way,” sold 1.11 million in its first week of sales but had a promotion selling the album for 99 cents for two days.
Did any of you expect the album to sell this much? What was the better album, “Tha Carter III,” or “The Carter IV”?
